Become A Member

The Scientific Working Group on Digital Evidence is composed of member agencies from all levels of government.

Currently, we accept both regular membership and associate membership. 

• Regular members are active, full-time personnel of a federal government agency, state or local law enforcement agency involved in the digital and multi-media forensic profession. They will not have an outside commercial interest, which present a conflict of interest
• Associate members include: educators, commercial representatives, contractors, and law enforcement personnel with outside commercial interests.

If you feel that you are able to make the time commitment to SWGDE, then you are welcome to download the documents below and return them following the instructions within them.  Please see our Events page for meeting dates and locations.

Each application must include the following forms:

Guest Invitation Request Letter
Membership Application (pdf)
Membership Application (doc)
Nomination Form Letter for Regular Member Nomination
Nomination Form Letter for Associate Member Nomination

Please be sure the application is complete before sending it in.
